I have always loved Ozzy Osbourne. Not his stupidity and lack of IQ words, but I love his classic songs and performance.
Since I missed last year's OzzFest, I begged the husband to please consider buying the tickets for us to go. But the tickets were way to expensive ($89 per ticket, lawn seats). So this weekend, the ticket agent announced that all tickets at the Shoreline Theatre are going on sale. The OzzFest tickets were going for $39! What a breakthrough! Then David went on ebay and negotiated with a ticket agent. And we finally got the tickets at $45 for 2!

Yes, I am very excited. I have always wanted to watch Ozzy and his gang perform. Since the fest is a whole day event, there will be Iron Maiden and also Rob Zombie performing on that day.

I got to go to the very first Ozzfest, and as I look at the nu-metal lineup, i'm not too thrilled.

nazrah, i'd certainly take ely to some sort of led zeppelin show (except robert plant solo) if i could. in fact, i saw jimmy page and robert plant play in denver about 10 years ago with a full egyptian orchestra. you should have heard them play KASHMIR...sounded similar to the version on the live cd "unledded" only longer.
i'm looking forward to seeing iron maiden...after seeing bruce dickenson on bbc many years ago and learning about his interests in history and how INTELLIGENT this guy is, it makes me look at the band an entirely different way...
as for ely and the stud belt, i don't like it. i grew out of that phase 20 years ago.
