Yup, that’s my nightstand, decorated with my comfort food.1. First, my chocolate malt balls which are oh so sedap. They were on sale...2 for $3. So, one box for the kids and the other for the husband and I.
2. My dark chocolate and my Fruit and Nut bar of chocolate. Again, on sale, 99 cents per bar, cheap kan? But puh lees don’t get me wrong. I don’t eat them all at once, just one tiny piece per night. OK OK, sometimes 2. .
3. My magnetic anklet that I bought at Old Sacramento cos firstly, its blue, secondly, its on impulse. I still love it!
4. To add to the irony (or should I say 'to CONTRADICT my diet regime', see that mug? That’s my diet green tea, hoping that it would melt the oh so tidak chocs out of my system by morning!!!!!!!!
5. Starbucks card, which has been sitting there for almost 4 months, with only 25 cents left I think? Jadilah, buat bayar the whipcream that tops the frappucino hehehe.
6. The birth control pills (no shame, we all know what its used for). Oody, don’t ask me, boss belum kasi green light to stop taking them!
Now now, in order for me to be successful in my diet, I would have to ‘clear’ my night stand kan? Hmmm, its going to be hard and emotional. I know that I have 2 options, #1, to move them chocs to the husband’s side of the bed, #2, to let the kids eat them chocs until they’re gone! I know that I MUST get rid of them.
I might have to change the stuff on my night stand to healthy stuff like fruits, more green tea, water and vitamin tablets. Or how about a Reader’s Digest magazine, the remote and my pair of glasses?
I will give you the update when I have made a total makeover of my nightstand ok!

babe, I think you have to throw out the night stand and as for lighting just hang some lights of yr wall! And I have to throw out the fridge!! As long as those nightstands and fridges are there we'll be creative with what we put on/in em. Like, fruits..BUT chocolate coated fruits?? Ya know what I mean?? Oh, and those choc malt balls look oh so mean!! YA Allah, sungguh tempting!!
mammal, when u see the box dah sedap, kalau u shake it, u can drool and u can smell the choc from outside the box babe! and when i eat it, aiyoh, no need to explain!
u know when i got the malt balls yesterday, i shook and sniffed the boxes and said 'aaaah' hahahaha the lady in front of me laughed and said 'oh yeah!'.
Ely can't throw out the light! She'll store even MORE food there and drive me crazy...
hey ely, i don't store/eat food in the bedroom. instead i have a wellstocked fridge and pantry in the kitchen,and a mini bar in the tv room.and boy, do i have food in my kitchen.
i remember my sisters going crazy when they saw my fridge and my pantry.they reported it excitedly to my mom, and i got into trouble for not going organic and non-carcinogenic.
CA is a serious snacker,kacang, chips, candy bars the works... I tumpang je.Heh heh!But I do stock up on dark chocs and toffee lollies for myself.`
Nanti la twin, i show u how menggemukkan my ration can get.

Suggestion if I may: put all the yummies in the kitchen. That way you'll less likely reach for them while you're in the bedroom. ;)
I love to snack too, and Maltesers has been on sale at Watsons, so of course, I would be crazy not to buy them! :D I put them in the fridge or kitchen table, and most times I forget that I actually have stash! Nothing on my desk or bedroom. Otherwise, I get out of control... *hehehee*
Also a few years ago, I got a toothache for eating junk before going to bed. Since then, I stopped doing that. Oprah's trainer says, no food, not even a teeny weenie grape, 3 hours before bed. That actually does help me from feeling sick in the morning.
hartini, then it will defeat the purpose of a nightstand! if i put the yummies in the kitchen, remember i have 3 other monsters thats would eat my yummies.
we usually eat dinner by 6.30pm and dessert at 7pm, so i dont really eat after 7.30pm, thats been my habit since many years back.
with my yummies just sitting here next to me when i go to bed, the smell dah cukup bagus :)
sib baik i got no stash, tu pun tak turun2 my weight. mmg dah nasib to end up as a tong drum
ish, dah 3 hari nak try diet asik kena backfire jer. so besok, mesti nak go cold turkey. more and more water for me!

Interesting, agree with hartini, I only have plain water on my nightstand and an alarm clock.. no food.. takut nanti, soldier of ants line-up next to me.. *hehhee*

suriyati, like my last paragraph of this posting, that i am going to change food with readers digest magazines. now i have RD and a few books at my nightstand heehhe.
